For my second year final major project I decided to create a fleshed-out level with interactable elements and AI character for a survival game based on my research about the cognitive development of children; how this relates to the parent/child relationship and how a child's relationship with their parents affects their relationship with society. Key influences include; Little Nightmares, Lord of the Flies, Goya, Scott Chin and Don't Starve.
I'm really pleased with the overall look, atmosphere and immersion of this level however I could improve it by adding graffiti VFX, a combat system and the environmental effects.
